Find recent work
All of your sessions — Ask threads and Computer tasks — appear together in the app's sidebar; there are no separate tabs for each. Open History from the sidebar to browse them.
Search your threads
To find a specific saved session, use search mode:

Mac → a dedicated input field in the side bar

Windows → a magnifying glass icon in the top left corner
Find a Project
A Perplexity Project is different from a local folder:

A Project organizes Perplexity threads, instructions, and cloud files.

A folder contains local files on a specific computer.
If something is missing

Check whether you are looking for an Ask thread, Computer task, Project, or local folder.

Check History in the sidebar, or the appropriate task or Project view.

Compare the work visible in the app with Perplexity on the web.

Reinstalling the app does not delete cloud-based Projects or threads.
