Troubleshooting Common Enterprise Issues

General sign-in troubleshooting

  • Internet connection: Ensure it’s stable and reliable.

  • Firewall settings: Verify that your firewall isn’t blocking Perplexity.

  • VPN: VPNs may interfere with Perplexity’s performance due to CloudFlare settings. Try disabling the VPN and attempt to sign in again.

  • Update browser and OS: Ensure your browser and operating system are up to day with the latest versions.

  • Hard-refresh your browser: Press ctrl+F5 on Windows, or command+shift+R on Mac.

Method-specific troubleshooting

Google one-click sign-in

  • Check your Google account: Ensure you are signed into the same Gmail account in the browser you’re using for one-click sign-in.

  • If on mobile:

    • Update the app: Check the App Store or Google Play Store for the latest version of the Perplexity app.

    • Force quit and relaunch: If the app is running, force quit it and then reopen.

    • Reinstall if needed: Uninstall the app and reinstall it to resolve any issues.

  • Alternative option: If problems persist, try signing in using the Sign in with email option instead of using Google one-click.

Apple sign-in

  • Check your iCloud account: Ensure you are using the same iCloud account as your previous sign-ins.

  • Verify device sync: If you’re already signed in on another device, make sure it’s properly synced with iCloud.

  • If on mobile:

    • Update the app: Ensure the Perplexity app is up to day by checking App Store.

    • Force quit and relaunch: Force quit the app, then relaunch it.

    • Reinstall if needed: If issues persist, uninstall the app and reinstall it.

  • Alternative option: You can also try the Sign in with email option if Apple sign-in doesn’t work.
