The Outlook Connector enables you to query Outlook.com and Outlook on the Web email messages and calendar events directly from Perplexity.
It integrates Outlook.com or Outlook on the Web directly with Perplexity’s productivity features, streamlining your personal information management. You can seamlessly access and integrate relevant information from your email, calendar, documents, connected applications, and the web—all without having to search manually or shift between platforms.
Below you’ll find an overview of this Connector and how to activate it.
What does the Outlook.com Connector do?
Once enabled, the Outlook.com Connector allows you to query your Outlook.com or Outlook on the Web inbox from Perplexity, enriching your searches with information that you may only have in your emails.
Currently, the Outlook.com Connector can only query one primary calendar. Querying multiple or secondary calendars is not possible.
You can also query your Outlook calendar, allowing you to see your events in a single interface.
In the future, you will be able to send emails or create calendar events directly from Perplexity and Comet.

Connecting Perplexity to your Outlook.com account is done at a personal level. This means that no one else in your organization is able to query your inbox or calendar. If you query your calendar on a shared Thread, however, anyone with access to the Thread will be able to see the responses.
To maintain control over how Perplexity interacts with Outlook.com, organization admins can enable or disable the connector for all organization users.
How to activate it
To activate the Outlook.com Connector:
Go to Connectors in Settings and locate the Outlook.com on the list.
Click Enable.
You will then be prompted to log in to your Microsoft account and to grant some permissions to the connector. These will allow the connector to have visibility of your inbox and calendar information and perform actions on your behalf in Outlook.com or Outlook on the Web. Click Allow to continue.
Click Finish setup to start using Perplexity with Outlook.
If you’re a member of an Enterprise organization, admin approval may be required to allow Perplexity to connect to your organization’s Outlook account. Your organization admin can follow these instructions to grant this approval.
